The Biggest Loser - Mama Mia itza Pizza Time

Only six contestants remain: 4 Black Team members and 2 Blues.  Jillian comes in to wake the team whooping and jumping on beds. Bob, Mr. Mellow, comes in saying “Good morning my little children” and snuggles with Nicole.  It’s time to come to the real world, where workouts are in addition to a full day’s job.

Kim had to face the fact that she lost her last trainee.  He left video message to say thanks and see you later.  In a sentimental flash black segment we’re reminded the Red Team was on a winning streak for the challenges, but not the weigh ins.  I think the real turning point for the team was getting rid of their Captain Phil and keeping Amy.  She jumped off that sinking ship faster than a rat on the Titanic. 

Bob showed Neil and Nicole some tricks for preparing food at home.  Jillian recommends intense workouts to get your heart rate up in a short amount of time.  It’s so amazing to see how everyone looked just 3 months ago.  The human body is an awesome machine.

The contestants are going to work for the day. They pack lunch and snacks and hit the road.  Turns out they all work at a pizzeria.  Oh mama mia’ itza gonna get ugly. Neil and Julie are washing dishes, which can burn 165 calories an hour.  Hollie and Isabeau are cleaning bathrooms, burning 250 calories an hour.  Bill and Nicole are on food prep.  It was a long day, and it ain’t over.  It’s time for another work out. Personally I think it’s a little unreasonable to think real people can work out twice a day, for hours at a time.

Bill’s got a knee injury this week, so he’s concerned about the upcoming challenge.  Based on the boxing montage, I’d be concerned about getting my butt kicked, literally.  The challenge is a cage match: man vs. speed bag.  To hit the back, players will have jump up and down on a trampoline.  Bill may not win this week, and the prize is a 1 lb pass, which could save someone and someone else home. 

Round 1 - Nicole had the fewest hits and was eliminated

Round 2 - Neil and Bill fight to stay in the game, separated by only one hit, Neil was eliminated.

Round 3 - Bill was eliminated.

Round 4 -  The winner was Hollie

Bob is bummed to hear his Blue team was eliminated first and second.  He then gives Neil grief for not winning a single challenge the entire competition. 

At the weigh in Hollie is up first. and she lost 5 lbs; getting her below the 200s. Julie lost 3 lbs.  Bill lost 9 lbs and Neil lost 10 lbs. Big weeks for the Big Boys.  Neil’s lost 133 lbs breaking another record.  Isabeau lost 5 lbs.  Nicole lost 1 lbs. She must have gained 5 lbs in muscle.  Julie and Nicole fall below the yellow line. 

Bob admits he’s been hardest on Nicole then any other contestant because he saw her as a young woman so full of potential.  She’s just stating to realize that potential, it’s a shame to see her going home at this stage of the game.  It’s not a surprise to see the Black Team stick together and vote out Nicole.

This is insane.  Now the Blue Team is down to one player and Neil is inconsistent as hell. Imagine if only Black Team members go to the final four, the players no one picked in the beginning. 

Nicole looks amazing. She weights 188 lbs, having lost 91 lbs.
