Nick and Starr are the first team to head out on the second leg of the race, which begins in Fortaleza, Brazil. They will have to find a clue in a small village square. Ken and Tina (mom and dad) are close behind. Terrence and Sarah are off to a stressful start, when the cab driver tried to slam Terrence’s head into the trunk. Maybe he overheard Terrence whining because Sarah was talking to other teams. I wanted to slam his head in the trunk too. When Terrence and Sarah arrived at the airport they got another hard knock and realized Nick and Starr and Ken and Tina had teamed up.

Tina is convinced she was responsible for the airline using a larger plane to fly to Foraleza, and wants everyone else to know it. When it comes time to board the plane, she demands to go on first, because after all, it if it wasn’t for her no one would be boarding the plane and the entire airport would probably have shut down. Terrence got a little testy and Ken fought back. In the end, they kissed and made up.

Tina and Ken might have been the first on, but they weren’t first off to the square. Terrence and Sarah reached the clue box first followed by Kelly and Christy.

Marisa and Brooke will need to learn to play dirty if they’re going to make it in this race. Dallas and Toni are nice guys too, I hope they don’t finish last.

Teams will take a dune buggy across the beach to reach a detour, either Beach It or Docket.

Most of the teams choose Beach It and moved a boat across the beach on rolling logs. Terrence and Sarah finished first, but wandered away looking for a taxi. In the meantime, Nick and Starr passed them by. Kelly and Christy finished their task but thought they had more to do. They started to digging on the beach while other teams finished up and left.

Mark and Bill figured they would play to their strengths and choose Docket. They had to search for a series of numbers on a computer to find a code and then locate a container at a shipyard. They made the right choice and finished ahead of the pack.

Terrence and Sarah were frantically looking for a taxi while teams just cruised by them, until Dallas and Toni stopped. They pointed them back to the beach where the taxis were parked. Even after running all over the place and back again, they still weren’t in last place. Anthony and Stephanie had that distinction (again!)

Mark and Bill arrived at the roadblock. They have to find a clue hidden in plain site, their next location painted on a wall with lots of other scribblings. Bill just wrote everything down and solved the puzzle with brute force. It worked like a charm and he even gave Tina the idea. Then Tina and Ken passed them on the way to the pit stop and arrived first. That will teach Bill to teach Tina anything.

Kelly and Christy arrived at the roadblock and didn’t ask their taxi to stay. They just can’t get a clue about reading the clues. They finished ahead of everyone but didn’t have a ride out. Fortunately their taxi pulled into the yard and they realized it before the last team left. While they were wondering around clueless, Nick played dirty with Andrew. He asked to team up, share ideas but once he got the answer, he left Andrew hanging. That’s messed up!.

Anthony and Stephanie were the last team to arrive. Looks like they’re going to stay single after all.
