Survivor Gabon - Don’t get comfortable

Ace is upset that he received a single vote during the last tribal council. Multiply that by 7 and that’s how Paloma felt as the first Kota tribe member to get the boot. Randy is worried about the rice and he wants the tribe to cut back to one meal a day. The tribe divides over food, with GC, Crystal and Ken opposed to rations. The rest of the Feng tribe, Matty, Dan, Randy and Susie form an alliance. Matty is finally feeling comfortable with his position.  Uhoh, that’s the kiss of death.

Then it’s time to join Jeff on the beach to rank the tribe members, top to bottom, most important to least.

Kota ranked Marcus as most important followed by Ace then Bob. Sugar and Kelly were at the bottom of the ranking.

Feng ranked Matty most important, then Dan and Randy. Crystal was pissed that she came in fourth. GC and Susie came in at the bottom.

Once that exercise was over, Jeff announced they’ll pick new tribes. Marcus and Matty will be the captains of their new tribes.

Marcus picked Dan, the # 2 Man. Dan picked Charlie so he was thrilled to be back with his crush Marcus.

Matty picked Ace. Then Cystal and Ken. Ken picked Kelly and Ace was not happy!

Surprisingly Bob was left standing for awhile.

At the end of the picks, GC and Sugar were left standing. Sugar didn’t get picked so she was sent to Exile Island until the next tribal council. She’ll then go to whichever tribe loses a member so the tribe’s will remain tied 7 to 7.

Sugar just took a little break, swinging in a hammock and munching fruit. She already found the idle, so no sense working up a sweat.

Kota ended up with a strong tribe, with Marcus, Corinne, Bob, Charlie Randy and Dan. Oh yeah, and Susie.

Fang is going to have some drama, with Kelly and GC. Kelly doesn’t wait any time letting her new tribe know where she stood. Crystal, Ken and GC are more than happy to adopt her.

The immunity challenge is a mix of lacrosse and water polo. The players are on individual rafts with paddles and they have to move a ball across a water course to score points. Marcus took command of the ball early on, passing it to Randy for the first goal. It was déjà vu all over again when Marcus passed to Randy and scored another goal and then the final goal cinched the win for Kota.

Kelly just floated watching the action. She obviously wants to get rid of Ace so I guess she didn’t have much incentive to fight. GC thinks Kelly should go based on her performance. That’s pretty dumb considering they have Kelly for numbers. They don’t want to get rid of Ace because they can’t get rid of the strong people. That just leaves Jacquie.

Matty told Jacquie the plan and it gave her a chance to plead her case. Kelly didn’t help her cause when she called out Ken and Crystal at tribal council. It didn’t matter though because Jacquie was seen as a threat because of her friendship with Sugar and Ace.
