Tina and Ken were the first team to depart.  Their next stop will be La Paz, Boliva.  Andrew and Dan were at the back at the pack. Marisa and Brooke were the last team to depart. The teams arrived in La Paz, breathless (due to the elevation) and restless (due to sleeping on the street). The next morning a stack of newspapers are delivered and the players search for their next clue.

Nick tried to break the ice with Kelly and Christy - Christy thinks Starr tossed her sports bra from the balcony, so he received a chilly reception.

Andrew and Dan were the first team to find the clue and headed to a hat shop. Teams receive a detour, either Musical March or Bumpy Ride. For Musical March the players have to gather musicians and march through town to the plaza. Bumpy ride requires players ride a handmade bike on cobbled stones.

There is a U Turn, so teams can send their competitors back to complete both tasks.

Mark and Bill headed out quickly to Bumpy Ride. They grabbed a cab even though the clue instructed them to make their way on foot. Terence and Sarah did the same thing, but they caught their mistake early and turned around. Tina and Ken, Terence and Sarah, Aja and Ty, Christy and Kelly, Nick and Starr, Dallas and Toni all coasted on the bikes.

Andrew and Dan, Marisa and Brooke found band members. The marchers took their sweet time, but Marisa and Brooke encouraged them to pick up the pace, dancing and clapping as they led the way.

Nick and Starr flew by Christy and Kelly, but after some debate decided not to use the U-Turn. Starr asked Aja and Ty to use it but they didn’t either. In the meantime, Christy took a major tumble off the bike and so she and Kelly ended up in last place.

With all this drama going on, the roadblock is appropriate - a girl fight. The players will have to wrestle a Cholita, mastering various moves before they can receive their next clue.

Ken didn’t know he’d be fighting a girl when he volunteered to do the road block. After a few minutes of instruction he fought in the main ring without missing a step.

Marisa took more time learning the moves and she still didn’t get them right. She and Mark both had to repeat their training, while Nick, Dallas and Ty finished the task.

Ken and Tina were the first to arrive at the pit stop. Dallas and Toni were second and it was close race between the middle of the pack teams. Mark and Bill realized their mistake taking the taxi for the detour and received a 30 minute penalty. Kelly and Christy were the only team remaining and they arrived before the thirty minutes was up. Mark and Bill were eliminated from the race.
