Crystal spilled the rice and earned the ire of her tribe. If she’s not careful they’ll eat her. She refuses to eat the rice, not giving Matty and Ace the satisfaction of pointing a finger at her next tribal council.
Dan is feeling a little insecure about his position in the Kota Tribe. Corinne wonders if his social ineptness is because he’s a former fatty. For some reason he just seems like a pick kid who wants to belong.
Speaking of kids, the next reward challenge is a game of keep away. Monkey in the middle will try to knock the ball to the ground . Randy scored the first point knocking the ball from Ken’s hands. Bob did his best to knock the ball to the ground, but found himself in the dirt instead. Dan finished off the Fang Tribe and Kota won reward. A helicopter ride to a picnic site at the edge of a canyon. They receive a surprise too, a letter from home. Bob cried like a little girl. He had a whole stack of letters, but I don’t think Randy got one. Maybe a phone bill.
Sugar goes back to Exile Island, for the fifth time in a row and the Fang Tribe slunk back to their camp. Matty is pissed that they keep losing every challenge and vents his frustration on Sugar. Ace argues that they need to keep Sugar because she controls the idol. Crystal is his target and she knows it. Kenny knows he needs to get Sugar on board to save Crystal and split up the two boys who are calling the shots.
At the immunity challenge, the tribes learn they’ll both be going to tribal council. There is an individual immunity idol up for grabs though. The players are on a rolling log and whoever has the fastest footwork to stay on the log will win. The Kota tribe dominated the challenge in the first round. By round two tribe members faced each other until it was down to two victors. Sugar was a surprise winner when she faced off against Bob. For the final round, Ace, Sugar and Marcus were on the log at once. The last man (ehem woman) left standing will win. Sugar lasted for a few seconds, but in the end Marcus won the first individual immunity idol.
In a twist, Marcus was also able to assign immunity to one member of the other tribe. He picked Sugar. Back at camp Kenny approached Sugar. He gave her low down on Matty wanting to vote her out and Ace thinking he has her wrapped around his finger. Sugar may or may not believe him - but when Ace asks for the hidden idol she doesn’t just hand it over.
At tribal council Matty jumped on Crystal about spilling rice. Sugar considers it petty bull crap, which it is, but when you’re starving every grain of rice is significant. Sugar voted with Ken and Crystal, blindsiding her one true ally, Ace.
At Kota, Susie is the most likely candidate, at least for Dan and Marcus. Randy throws his hat in win the Onion alliance. Marcus sets his sites on Dan. Corinne approached Susie to let her know Dan was the target. Then Susie made the mistake of telling Corinne she was planning on writing Corinne’s name down. Corinne decided Susie was certifiable and needed to go.
Dan was voted out. He can drown his sorrow in a pint of Ben and Jerry’s.
